Jakarta water supply provision strategy based on supply and demand analysis

Abstract Robust water service delivery systems require an understanding of resource dynamics as a basis for planning sustainable solutions Jakarta, the capital with challenging provision performance. A significant gap needed to be closed coverage 64.06% and non-revenue at 45.06%. However, there is no detailed information on Jakarta's supply demand, which essential understand resources situation. This study estimates total demand 5 years. Furthermore, we analyze natural socio-economic factors shaping current using thematic analysis based DPSIR (Driver, Pressure, Status, Impact, Response) framework. paper contributes two building blocks in system strengthening approach sanitation, i.e., (1) sector policy strategy (2) planning, monitoring, review.
